Last day for rentals this season is Saturday, October 31. We reopen May 1.

Paddle through the heart of one of the largest collections of floating homes in the United States. Cruise past unique floating neighborhoods, marinas and wildlife, or paddle over to the iconic floating Island Cafe for a bite to eat. It's one of the most unique ways to experience Portland from the water.
Stay within North Portland Harbor at all times. Head upriver first, so the trip back is with the current.
The Columbia has current. Drifting away from the dock is easy, and getting back takes more effort, so pace yourself for the return trip.
Barges and powerboats share the river. Their wakes can reach you after they pass, so keep an eye out and give them room.
The river stays cold even on hot days. A sudden fall into cold water can take your breath away.
Every rental includes a life vest and a leash. Wear the vest instead of just carrying it, and keep the leash attached so your board stays with you if you fall.
Cascade Paddle Boards rents the same hybrid board as a stand up paddleboard or a sit-on kayak, $35 for 2 hours or $50 for 4 hours. Hard boards are available on request at the same price.
Every rental includes the same gear, and there's no deposit. We keep a card on file and may charge it for the value of the board if needed.
Renters must be 18 or older. Anyone under 18 needs to be with an adult, and riders must be at least 12. The weight limit is 275 lbs per board.
The last rental goes out 3 hours before we close, and boards are due back 1 hour before closing. Hours change by season, so call ahead to confirm today's hours and board availability.
Every renter signs a waiver at the shop before heading out. Scan the QR code on the flyer at the shop to sign it.
Park at 12050 N Jantzen Dr, the Navigator Coffee lot. Walk down to the floating dock at 12010 N Jantzen Dr, the green building with yellow trim, to pick up your board.
