Getting there from Vancouver

Head south on I-5 across the bridge, then take Exit 308 for Hayden Island / Jantzen Beach.

Park at 12050 N Jantzen Dr, the Navigator Coffee lot. This is the depot's parking lot, a different address from the dock itself, so don't let GPS drop you at the water's edge.

Walk down the ramp toward the marina. The green building with yellow trim and the JANTZEN FUEL DEPOT sign is your landmark, and the floating dock there is 12010 N Jantzen Dr.

Rates and what's included

Rentals are $35 for 2 hours or $50 for 4 hours. Hard boards are available on request at the same price as the hybrid board.

Every rental includes the same gear, and there's no deposit. We keep a card on file and may charge it for the value of the board if needed.

Who can rent

Renters must be 18 or older. Anyone under 18 needs to be with an adult, and riders must be at least 12. The weight limit is 275 lbs per board.

Where to paddle

Stay within North Portland Harbor for the whole trip. Head upriver first, so the current helps bring you back to the dock instead of working against you on the way home.

Sign the waiver, then pick up your board

Every renter signs a waiver at the shop before heading out. Scan the QR code on the flyer at the shop to sign it.

Taking a board back to Vancouver

Hard and hybrid boards stay at the dock. If you want to take a board home across the bridge, we rent inflatable paddleboards for $75 per 24 hours. Off-site rentals only. Longer terms by request.
